Exciting news!!
Joshuas tooth is loose and I rekon a couple more days and its gonna fall out, Tooth Fairy will be visiting here soon :)

Im SOOOOO Proud of Joshua, look at what he brought home ....

Josh has been really trying with his golden words over the last few weeks and he finally did it, he got them all right!!! He said to me "I did just what you said Mum, I took a deep breath and I took my time and I did it!' Hes such a darling and now hes onto practicing writing them every night.

Josh was awake before me this morning and found him on the computer playing games. He jumped off as soon as Zakk turned up and they played soldiers, outside in the cubby and then it was time for lunch. They opted to sit and eat inside so they could watch Jurassic Park.
The kids played well together for the rest of the day, he must have been worn out as he was in bed asleep before 8pm.

Josh and Lilly slept in this morning so we were running a little late, although we still managed to get Josh to school on time.
When I went to get Josh I couldnt find him anywhere at the school and had to go to the office to get his name called out over the speaker, he said he was on the oval playin footy. He also brought this home today ...

Im sooooo PROUD of him, I definately know he doesnt get the organisational skills from me, ahahaha!!!

We both headed for the shopping plaza and got his hair cut, he was so good as he usually squirms quite a bit as he panics about people touching his ears, he looks so adorable, here's a pic ...


We went to get Lilly and then headed home. Josh and Lill played together outside for a while and Josh ate every bit of his dinner. He doesnt have school tomorrow so I said he could stay up late but found him asleep on the couch at 9.30, I cant believe how big hes getting I nearly broke my back carrying him to bed, LOL.

Josh played outside for most of the morning with his sister in their cubby house. After lunch we all headed up to the strawberry farm, Josh thought it was a great place and his eyes were popping out of his head when he saw all the lollies and the chocolate.
We came home for a relaxing afternoon and then all headed over to Josh's Nan and Poppy's as Nicole was making us all a lamb roast. Josh ate most of it but refused the cauliflower, lol.
We headed home for an early night as Josh has school tomorrow.

Josh was great this morning, he cleaned up his room and then went to the market with his Dad.
Damian had bought the kids a huge bag of cinnamon popcorn and they were munching away on that when they got home.
Josh played a few games on his PS2 and kept himself occupied while Lilly and myself had an arvo nap.
We had take away for dinner which Josh was wrapped about and he then headed to his room where he made a huge cubby house from his sheets and doona covers, he even set up a bed for Lilly so she could stay in there for the night.

Josh was woken up by Nicole and Bella this morning as we had to take Bella to creche. He wasnt feeling well so i decided to keep him home for the day. We dropped Bella off at creche and then off to day care for Lilly. Josh and I headed home after we dropped the car in for a service. We both relaxed at home until it was time to go back and get the car.
Next stop was the video store and Josh decided to hire a skateboarding game for his PS2. He didnt get long to play it before we had to go and get Lilly. We all headed over to Bonnie and Ty's for the night, Josh played with Tyler the whole time and was wrapped when he saw Tyler had a Ninja Turtles game on his Nintendo! We stayed until just after 9pm and Josh went straight to sleep when he got home.

Josh was 5 minutes late for school today he must have been buggered from last night. Josh wasnt too keen on the pumpkin soup I made for dinner but still managed to eat quite a bit. Josh was in bed before 7.30, and was an angel and went tosleep straight away.

Josh was a little hard to get up and ready for school today but we still made it on time.
I honestly didnt recognise him when I got him from school as he had a white top on, but when he got closer to the car I noticed that he had been given his Cricket pack, also brought home some more wonderful artwork ...

Josh seemed pretty tired and I thought he was going to have an early night until Brenna rang and suggested we take the kids trick or treating for Halloween, we got there by 6.15pm but the other didnt turn up until 7pm, we headed out and just walked around the block, there were 7 kids in total and all did very well, some people werent interested and said things like "Im not American come back on Australia Day" a few others refused to open their door and yelled 'No one home" but most of the residents were very kind.

We didnt get home until 8pm and the kids were keen on piggin out on lollies, somehow I got them into bed by 9.30 with not too much fuss.

Well Josh was hard to wake up this morning, I tried 3 times before he finally got up.
He got to school just as the bell was sounding but was pretty happy I remembered to give him money for the cake stall today.
When I picked him up he explained that he got 2 cupcakes at playtime with his money and even got some change, he started digging into his pockets only to realise it had fallen out while he was playing.
Josh also said he had a computer class today and thinks he did really well (so do I by the look of his work he brought home), he said he even got to use the printer! Here's what he did ...

He was so good for the rest of the night, also worked on his golden words ready for his test this week!

Nicole dropped the kids off about 2pm and we all had the laziest day ever!
Josh and Lilly wanted to play outside and did really well without fighting and annoying each other for a few hours, then it started and they kept having to have time outs from each other.
Josh didnt like the look of dinner (Yoghurt baked chicken and veg) but after convincing him to just try it he was amazed at how nice it was and ate the lot!
It was so hard to get Josh to bed tonight, he kept saying but the sun is still up, I tried my best to explain to him why but he didnt seem interested.

Well staying up so late last night must have really knocked him about as Josh didnt get up until after 10am.
We all mucked around in my bed for well over a half hour tickling, laughing and just being plain old silly, then there was a knock at the door and Nicole and Bella popped in for a visit.
Josh and Bella played outside for a while then Bella had to go to a bday party.
Josh was great all afternoon, was in and out playing with Lill while I lazed about.
Josh got himself packed and ready in no time when I told him he was staying at Nicoles for the night.

Josh had free dress day at school and was so happy he got to wear his spiderman shorts and top, although when picked him up he told me off as I had forgotton about the cake stall and he didnt have any money.
He had hurt his finger at school today and brought this home from the school nurse ...

Josh was quite grumpy right up until dinner time as Lilly wouldnt leave him alone but his tune soon changed when I told him his Uncle Shaun and Emily were coming over for a visit.
Josh was so wrapped to see them both and wanted to play PS2 with Shaun but they spent most of the time looking for the car racing game which I think Lilly has put somewhere?
After Shaun and Em left Josh decided to play on his PS2 for a while and I noticed he didnt go to bed until about 11pm!

Another good day at school for Josh by the sounds of things and another beautiful piece of artwork for me ...

He said that the picture was of Australian soldiers protecting the beach (blue section) Josh said that the 2 blue men on the right is himself and his mate Riley and that their tank blew up so they are crouching down while the other tank gets the baddies!

Josh really wanted to play outside this arvo but I had to do shopping which he wasnt happy about!

Chops and vegies for dinner and he ate the lot!

Josh said he had a good day at school today and brought this home to show me ...

The weather was pretty bad today so he couldnt play outside when he got home, which he wasnt happy about.
Josh is a big fan of the simpsons cartoon but he was mesmerized by a program they showed on the ABC (channel 2) which was about the Australian Army. He is just so into soldiers at the moment and couldnt believe his eyes when he saw them on TV doing their training and listening to their stories, he kept saying 'Mum I want to be just like them guys and protect Australia from the baddies' Awww he's such a darlin!

Another great morning of being organised right up until we actually got to school and Josh had realised he had left his bag at home, grrrrrrrr! So Lill and I went to get it straight away and drop it back off for him.
I went to get Josh from school and he didnt seem too pleased about going home, I even picked up late so he could have a play, but he was a darlin when he got home, he brought the bin in and packed his bag and lunchbox away without me hasseling him!
We had Fish and chips for dinner which the Josh thought was super, off to bed for an early night tonight.

What a great start to the week, Josh was up at the crack of dawn and I had him at school by 8.15am, he was pretty happy about that!
When we got home after school Josh and Lilly headed straight for the cubby house and were in there right up iuntil dinner time, Josh was begging to have his dinner out there but it was getting dark.
A late night for Josh to bed, it was after 9.30 before he got to sleep.

I didnt get to see Josh until lunch time as it was John's birthday lunch so Damian, Lilly and I decided to walk up as it was a nice day.
Josh was outside running amok with Bella when we got there.
He wasnt too impressed about having to go home and was asking where is the car mum? As soon as I said we were walking home he thought it was a race and took off, he's quite fast and was way ahead in no time.
When we got home I said go and have a look in the front garden, next minute I hear 'woohooo, ohhh yea, my cubby house is up!!' going by that reaction I can be safe in saying he was wrapped.
Olive brought Lea over for a play and the kids had a ball.
We had Brenna and Zakk over for dinner and Josh was pretty happy about that, he showed Zakk his cubby and then was explaining to him about the computer games he plays in great detail.
Josh ate all his dinner and was in bed by 8.30

Josh was great this morning considering all I did was clean and hassel them not to mess things up again, he had a few games on the computer then we headed to Nicoles as she was having a make up party.
Josh, bella and Lilly played well outside then headed back inside for a movie and to munch out on some marshmellows ...

Josh didnt want to leave when it was time to go home and Nicole said he could stay for the afternoon and play with Bella and she would drop him off later.

By dinner time I was starting to wonder where they were, so I called and Nicole said he could stay over the night.

Another day of school and plenty of time to play before the bell, Im so lucky as I still get my morning kiss goodbye :)
I picked up Josh first from school as he loves to come into the day care centre and suprise Lilly.
Josh did all his chores again tonight and brought this home from school to show me ...

We came home and headed out to the garden for a quick clean up and the kids played in the back garden.

I was very happy to see Josh eat all his dinner tonight as he gets a bit funny now at trying new things, I made a lovely quiche with a heaps of vegies in it.

Being friday night he got to stay up as late as he wanted and didnt go to sleep until 10.30.

Josh was just in time for school today, he was a shocker to wake up again.
He said he had a great day when I picked him up and said 'check this out mum, I made a pirate's hat' ...

We headed to Lainie's for a visit.
He was quite well behaved there and had me giggling when I saw him playing with the doctor play set.
It didnt take him long to spot some dirt and he was straight into it.
We came home and had a beautiful canneloni dinner and bruscetta, Josh ate it all, I was so impressed.
He even got dressed into his pj's and headed for bed. I should've checked on him earlier as yep you can guess he was still up at 10pm sneakily playing PS2!!!

We were'nt late this morning dont ask me how as Josh would not wake up, it took me 3 times to finally get him out of bed, so tonight there will be no movies PS2 or PC, straight to bed!
I picked him up at the usual time he made this today at school ....

and we headed to Juney's to get Lilly. He wasn't happy when he saw her face and been painted and wanted to know why he missed out. I explained to him the fun day was for the little kids who dont go to school.
His mood soon changed when Juney gave him a Dinosaur book and he sat straight down to read it, he was wrapped that it had his favourite dinosaur pictures in there.

When we arrived home Josh was so happy to see there was something for him in the letterbox ...
I was lazy tonight so when Nicole came over to visit we decided to take the kids to McDonalds for dinner, which of course put a smile on their faces.
Well my plan on getting Josh to bed early didnt happen and again I found him watching a movie so I turned it all off and he was asleep by 9.30 yet again.

Another day of school for Josh, he had me worried this morning as he didnt look well and kept saying he didnt know what was wrong, but after 30min or so confessed he had a bad dream ... he said someone was hurting his dog and he had tears in his eyes :( I gave him a big hug and we went out to see if Hunny (our dog) was ok, he was very relieved to see her.
After that he was ready in no time but we still managed to be a little late for school.
Josh was in a fantastic mood when I picked him up but he kept asking if he could go to Kiona's to play, I explained I still needed to organise it with her parents.

I made a beautiful beef stew for dinner and again Josh ate everything! I was a little annoyed to find him awake watching a movie at 9.45pm!

Another week gone by and Josh is off to school again today, he was nice and early so he had lots of time to play before the bell went.
Josh was in a great mood when I picked him up and then we headed to get Lilly.
Nicole, Bella and Shannon visited bu Josh wasn't interested in playing outside with Bella instead he ignored the fact they were here and opted for the PC, after they left he starts asking where's Bella gone?
Roast chicken for dinner and Josh ate it all.
Off to bed nice and early again xoxox

Josh headed straight for the PC again this morning so I let him go while I cleaned the house.
We dropped the kids off at their Nan and Poppy's as I was off to the Mornington Wine Festival.
We got back to pick them up about 3pm and Lilly was sound asleep and Josh was outside on the swings, he wasn't too happy when we told him it was time to go home.
We had a lazy afternoon, Josh and Lill played outside and got filthy dirty in the back garden.
An easy dinner and suprisingly an early night for the kids.

Josh had a good sleep in this morning and then he headed staright for the PC. He was stuck like glue playing his sonic game and was so excited when he got past the 4th level!!!
I had to pry him off the PC to get ready for Sheniah's party but when he saw the present all wrapped up he was eager as anything to get there.
I took some pics before we left ...

We dropped him off at 12 and picked him back up again at 2.30. He looked buggered but said he had the best time.
He wanted to get back on the PC again so I let him go for an hour then dragged the kids off to Brenna's so they could play with Zakk. Josh was a little cheeky at Brenna's and just wouldnt listen to me so after an hour I had enough and headed back home.
Josh ended up having a little nap in his room before dinner.
He was great for the rest of the night and I was shocked when he agreed to have a shower and not a bath for a change.
He didnt go to bed until 10, that afternoon nap must have recharged him, LOL.

Josh was buggered this morning and took ages to get ready for school, we still made it on time and I got a big kiss and cuddle goodbye.
He brought home some lovely artwork today ...

Josh and I stopped in at safeway before getting Lilly.
When we all got home the kids decided to pig out on sandwiches and biscuits, I was amazed they still ate all their dinner and wanted sweets afterwards!
Josh played some PS2 and then chilled out and watched some cartoons with his dad.

I dropped Josh off to school super early this morning and he seemed to be in a great mood when I picked him up at 3.30.
We came home and got ready to go to Brenna's for a BBQ.
Josh, Zakk and Lill played so well together. They ran around with the dogs until it got dark then headed in to watch Spiderman, then they decided they wanted to watch Shark Tales, that didn't last long either so they went off to trash Zakk's room instead.
We had a late dinner as the BBQ didn't work and ended up getting home at 9.30.
Josh was great and went straight to sleep, when I went off to bed I noticed Lilly had jumped in to bunk with him for the night.

I was in a bit of a panic this morning as I had a big day but Josh managed to drag himself out of bed, get dressed, have brekky and be at school right on time.
He was so happy when I picked him up as I had his swim shorts water pistols and told him we were going to Brenna's so he could play with Zakk. He made another beautiful creation in art class today ...

They had a ball and they got saturated within minutes. Josh even had an idea to tip a bucket of water down the slide and make a slippery slide which Lill seemed to enjoy the most.
We had to leave at 5.15 as I hadnt thought about what I was going to do for dinner and told Josh if all goes to plan we could go back tomorrow afternoon.
I made the kids macaroni and cheese and since Josh nearly ate a whole bowl full I gave in and said he could have biscuits once I had finished my dinner.
He watched bugs bunny cartoons again for a half hour and was asleep by 8.30.

Josh was amazing this morning we were all dressed and ready by 8am, he wanted to go straight to school so he would have a long time to play before the bell went.

We came straight home after school had finished for the day as the plumber was there installing the new oven but he didnt mind as when we arrived he noticed the plumber had brought his dog and what was even better was that this dog actually played fetch with him and brought the ball back to him everytime!
Josh helped me water the garden and we headed inside to start on dinner, we had heaps of left overs from the roast and snitzel but Josh opted for fish fingers and garlic bread.
Josh and Lill played well together for the rest of the night but they were buggers to get to bed, Lill ended up sleeping with Josh and they both fell asleep about 10pm they looked so cute.

Josh was up and eager to go to school this morning as he knew he was going on the school bus after school to go and play at Kiona's house, so we dropped Josh off first so he had time to play with his mates.
During the day Kiona's mum rang to say that Kiona wasnt well and therefore wasnt at school so we will have to make another day for a play visit, I wasnt looking forward to telling him that, but after school Sam's Mum Michelle had rang as Josh was sitting eagerly waiting for the bus so she broke the news that I would be there to get him soon.
He was a little upset when I got there but seemed to be ok once I explained he will be going there for a play visit just not today, then he changed the subject straight away as he had some exciting news for me ... 'Mum guess what ... I got the star of the week today' Ohhh I felt so proud and he was given a bag with pencils and a sheet of paper in which he had to answer a few things about himself, here are his answers:

He also had to take back a photo of himself as they would set aside some time during school and read out his answers and his photo would go up on the board.
Josh was happy to see we were having another of his dinner favourites, chicken snitzel and even ate all his vegies, he was very impressed to know the broccoli came from our garden.
He watched a bugs bunny cartoons and was asleep by 9pm.

I didnt get to Nicoles until 1pm that day as I had been to Dandenong.
All the kids were outside playing on the swings and seemed to be in a great mood.
Josh was suprised to see me and wondered how I got here without him seeing or hearing me, lol.
We stayed for a while longer so they could play and then had to head home. While I prepared a beautiful roast dinner the kids played outside on the slide and bikes.
Josh ate all his dinner and I mean all of it so I decided he could have dessert which put a big smile on his face.
I was happy to see there was no fuss with Josh in going to bed tonight and he was asleep in no time.

Michelle dropped Josh off at 11.30 and Lill was so relieved to see her big brother.
They must have missed each other as the played together for a good hour with no fighting or yelling.
We went down the street to do some shopping, Josh started off in a foul mood as was draggin his feet and constantly complaining so I took him into the bakery to get some lunch, well it seemed to make matters worse as he only wanted cake, so I told him if he ate a sandwich or a sausage roll I would give him a cake, well his lunch was gone within a split second and he was up choosing a cake, he ended up getting the biggest lamington I had ever seen.
I then had to drag the kids to the deli, fruit and vegie shop, butcher and then to safeway, they were buggered by the time we had finished.
Brenna rang when we got home and asked if I could help with one more load to her new house so I decided to take Josh and the ute.
Zakk and Josh get along so well and played for ages, chasing each other with the hose and got totally saturated while Brenna and I relaxed in the back yard, we headed home about 5.30pm.
We had a quick easy meal got their bags packed and headed to Nicole's as Josh and Lill were staying over for the night.

We all had to get ready early today as Josh was off for another day at school, Lill was in care and I had to drop his clothes, blanket etc. to Michelles before Brenna arrived to pick me up back at my house. Amazingly we did it all and Josh was so excited as today was the day he finally got to go on the school bus with Sam and stay over the night.
I gave him a big kiss as I wouldn't see him until tomorrow.
Kioana's Mum rang me at lunch time and organised for Josh to go there for a play visit on Monday afternoon and again he would have to catch the school bus, I couldnt wait to tell him.
It felt so weird not getting him from school this afternoon and I couldnt stop thinking about him, neither could Lill by the looks of it as for most of the night she kept calling out for him and looking everywhere for him.
By 7.30pm I couldnt get him off my mind so I called Michelle to see how he was, she said he was fine and was being such a good boy for her, he jumped on the phone and quickly said 'Hi Mum having a great time, Sam has racing cars, love ya, Bye' and gave the phone straight back to Michelle. She said she would drop him off about 11am tomorrow.

Well we were all up and ready to go on time this morning. Josh was at school with plenty of time to play with his mates before the bell went, so it was good to see him off with a big smile on his face.
I picked him up but he didnt seem that impressed as he thought he was going to Sam's tonight so all the way home he had his arms crossed and an unhappy look on his face.
Once we were home Josh went straight for the PS2 and was determined to get past level one on the game his Uncle Shaun had bought him, that seemed to keep Lill and Josh occupied for a while, they had a bath and were eager for dinner as it was their favourite bacon carbonara.
He was such a good boy and went straight to bed with no fuss.

We all slept in this morning and in doing so Josh was late for school. I had to go with him to the office and get him a late pass, he didnt want me to walk him to class and he said 'bye Mum you can go now I can do this on my own you know' but I got a kiss goodbye so that was ok.
I picked him up once school was out for the day and as we were leaving we stopped to chat with Sam's Mum - Michelle and we organised for Josh to have a stay over on friday night, he was so excited about it and wouldnt stop talking about it all the way home.

He didnt want to do much this afternoon except have a little play with Lill and chill out as he said he was still a little tired.
He ate all his dinner and wanted to go to bed.

The kids that were in our group on the school zoo excursion made them, they are so adorable!

Josh was a little harder to wake this morning so I let him sleep until 8am, which was a bad mistake as when we got to school he wasnt impressed that he didnt have any time left to play before the bell went, off he trotted with a sour look, but I was pleased to see him happily playing in the sand pit when I went to pick him up in the afternoon.

Josh again did all his chores without me asking when he got home, he makes me so proud!
As I was cooking dinner he came out and boasted look mum Ive got my pj's on and I put my clothes in the laundry, my head was literally spinning.
He ate all his dinner and was then determined to pass a level on his game so he was happily playing in his room.
I did some washing, and also caught up on some emails, put Lill to bed then again to my amazement Josh comes out and asks for akiss and cuddle as he wanted to go to bed, I went up to tuck him in and make sure he was comfy but he was already asleep!

Back to school - Term 4

Josh was easy to wake this morning and was ever so keen to get to school to see his friends, he was so much happier when he realised his dad was driving him to school.
It was so nice to see him run off with a huge smile on his face and his class mates greet him at the gate. Im a lucky mum as I still get a kiss and cuddle before he runs for the school, I savour every one as I know it wont last much longer, lol.
We picked him up at 3.30 and he was good and came straight to the car, he even said thanks mum for letting me have a play after school, he obviously still doesnt want me to pick him up on time! He brought this home today ...

He amazed me when he got home as he emptied his school bag and packed his lunch box away without me asking, he evn changed out of his school clothes and put them in the laundry, he must really want his pocket money this week, lol.
I didnt think he would have a bar of dinner as it was pasta bake and I had hidden capsicum and onions in it, but to my suprise had polished it all off.
He had a few games on his PS2 and then he hit the sack by 8.30

Well Josh, Bella and Lill were singing and screaming, yelling and all that kid stuff when I got up.They played quite well for a while in Josh's room then they all sat down for a big brekky.I no sooner turned my back for 5 mins of a quick clean to find the kids into the poker chips cards etc, they had thrown them all around the room!After they had packed them all away it was time for a bath, Josh wouldnt let Bella share a bath so Bella had a shower.While I had a shower they all thought it would be fun to totally trash Josh and Lillys room and I mean trash!Nicole rang and said she would be over after her shower to get Bella, so I got the kids into gear and made them tidy up the rooms.Josh wanted to go back to Bellas to play so he spent the afternoon there, which he was quite happy about.I picked him up at 4pm and we went to see Nana Juney. Mel was there as well.The kids were really well behaved there and were wrapped to see Juney as we hadnt seen her for 2 weeks.Back home we went for dinner and an early night as its back to school for Josh tomorrow, he was a good bot tonight and went straight to sleep.

Josh was munching his breakfast by the time I dragged myself out into the kitchen, he is growing up so fast and he is such a good boy, he had also made Lilly her breakfast which she had already polished off!
He wanted to play on the PC but I said he could play his PS2 as I needed to rest on the couch for a bit, that kept him occupied for a while then Lill and Josh thought it would be fun to run around the house playing hide and seek.
He had a huge lunch and wasnt happy when I said he couldnt ride to Bellas by himself, so he sulked in his room for ages.
Josh finally got sick of playing his PS2 and wanted to roller blade outside, that didnt last long so when Lilly woke up we headed to see Aunty Nikki.
The kids played well outside the whole time we were there and Josh was wrapped when I said Bella could stay over.
They all kept themselves occupied while some friends came over to play poker. Josh came out at 9 to tell me that Bella had gone to sleep and he couldnt get into bed as she was hogging it, lol. He was sounders by 9.30

Josh was very eager to get to his activity day as he was off to Ace Hi for an army tank ride, so he was dressed and ready by 8am. I dropped him off first.
I picked him up at 3.30 and he didnt look too impressed when I asked him about his tank ride, he exclaimed ... it wasnt a tank mum it was just a green car!
We stopped in at Brennas on the way home and the kids got to play with Zakk and his toys.
When we got back home Josh wanted to play on the PS2 with his dad in the hope that they could finally finish the Spiderman game, he was happy when I said he could stay up as long as he wanted.

Another good morning with Josh, he was up and organised in no time.
He wasnt impressed that he didnt have a footy jumper for his activity day so I let him take the soccer and footballs, even though they were a little flat.
I picked him up at 3.30 and he looked buggered, but he was full of beans again as soon as I told him we were off to Aunty Mels.
He played well with Kai and Tate but he had to be told a few times not to throw the sand, they were a bit cheeky and had covered Mels dog (Stella) in sand, he wasnt happy that we had to go but we still had more people to visit, so we were off again.
We stopped in at Nan and Poppys as they wanted to give the kids their showbag, Josh got a Pokemon bag and was wrapped, especially to find a huge inflatable bat and was bopping everyone with it.
Back at home Lill and Josh played well together and I was suprised when Josh had eaten most of his dinner.
Josh wanted to play soldiers so Damian (his Dad) chased each other round the house for a good hour then they were both glued to the Playstation still trying to finish the Spiderman game. He was sound asleep by 9.30

Such a darling ... up and organised nice and early (obviously doesnt get that from me) he fed himself and his sister chocolate spread on toast and milk.
I was suprised to see him watching cartoons and not on the PC.
Josh also enjoyed lazing about in his pj's for the morning and I finally gave in to him having an hour on the PC for his favourite games.
When we headed outside he was so happy he could dig and play in the dirt as the kids play area still isnt finished and hes been getting quite upset that Ive been making vegie patches everywhere and not leaving him and dirt to play in.
Josh wanted his favourite honey sandwiches for lunch, still amazes me how he can have the same thing over and over and not get bored of it.
Back outside again for a play while the weather was nice but in no time Josh had seemed to disappear, I was running around the yard like mad only to find him inside on the PC, cheeky boy!
He was in and out for most of the afternoon and really did well at amusing himself while I was busy in the garden.
There was a letter from Nana in the mail for Josh today ...

He ate heaps for dinner and was getting excited as Nicole and Bella were on their way round. They brought the kids show bags, but as they had sold out of the Ninja Turtles one Nicole bought him the Army bag instead, it was all ok until I saw Josh pull out 2 guns and a pistol, my eyes rolled as I cant stand guns for toys, its bad enough he plays those kind of games on the PC but to actuually run around with a pretend gun freaks me out, but good old showbag toys dont last forever and when they break theyre in the bin, speaking of which within 5mins one of the guns broke so Josh said he would play with it tonight while Bella was here then he would get rid of it tomorrow.
The kids were crazy tonight, yelling, running around and gave the cat a hard time, Josh didnt get to sleep untill after Nicole and Bella left which was 11pm!

Josh the Pirate

I picked Josh up from Aunty Nikki's at 8.45, he was dressed and eager to get to his Pirate day at the school. He didnt seem at all fussed as I was making a big deal at saying goodbye, he just wanted to get straight into making Pirate stuff.
I was there to collect him at 4.30 and he really looked as though he had fun, covered in black paint :( all over his gorgeous pants and cool pirate shirt.
He also brought home his eye patch he made, a sword and other items he made during last weeks activities.
He was ok when I told him he couldnt play on the PC tonight and did a great job at amusing himself, mainly chasing Lilly around!
He didnt eat much of his dinner as he wasnt impressed that I had mixed in rice.
Aunty Nikki and Bella visited again, Josh and Bella played some playstation and also got into trouble for drawing on his table with textas! Nicole and Bella left not long after this and I informed Josh that it was time for bed. He was sound asleep by 8.30

Josh must have been buggered from all the playing around with Bella yesterday as I actually had to wake him this morning, although he was quick to get ready as he knew it was another fun day at his school holiday programs.
When we got to the school we were told that the Army tank ride day had been postponed due to the weather so they decided to go roller blading instead, he was ok with that expect for the fact I didnt bring his own roller blades, he must think his mum has a super sonic mind that knows when plans change, lol. He pleaded for me to bring back his own blades I said I would try but there were no promises and explained to him that the roller skating rink would have some for him to borrow.
I collected Josh at 4.45 and it was great to see a huge smile on his face and to hear about how wonderful his day was. The carer said he was quite a good roller blader and really enjoyed his time there.
When he got home he headed straight for the PC and had a few games, he also ate all his sausages and vegies for dinner. It was back on the PC for more games until he heard Lilly in the shower and he wanted a bath, he patiently waited (in the nude mind you) in front of the heater until Lill had finished and then it was his turn to get squeaky clean. Aunty Nikki and Bella came over for a visit, and Josh was thrilled when Nicole asked them to stay over for the night, within a flash he had his bag packed and he was out the door, but he didnt forget to give me a hug and kiss.

Josh had a great day today, he was up before me yet again and had made himself honey on toast and a huge strawberry milk. He was allowed 1 hour on the PC as he coudnt play outside due to the rain, then it was off to Nan and Poppys to play with Bella.
Nikki brought him back home just after lunch and we all headed down to check out a unit for Nicole to rent. The kids run a riot through the place, hiding in the cupboards and doing laps around the yard. Then it was a race back to my place and the kids won hands down, its amazing how fast they can run.
Aunty Nikki went home while Bella decided to stay and play with Josh, even though it was freezing outside they still wanted to ride bikes but before I knew it the rain set in and they were both inside again. Josh decided it was time to show Bella how to play the PS2 and he taught her how to play gran turismo, it was so cute to see them both laughing and even when they were crashing and taking forever to complete their game they were still ahving a ball of fun.
Bella went home for dinner but asked if she could come back and stay for the night, Josh couldnt wait any longer for his cousin to come back and he passed out on the couch. Poor boy didnt get much of a rest as Lilly was laughing and yelling at Nemo on the T.V.
Josh wasnt impressed his dinner was cold when he awoke but soon after re-heating it was all gone and Bella was back again.
Both of them locked themselves away in Josh's room and played games, watched movies, giggled and carried on till 11pm.

I wasnt suprised to find Josh playing his online games when I woke this morning. It was quite hard to get him off the PC but as soon as I mentioned we were going to our neighbours for lunch and therefore he would get to play with Lea he was straight up to clean his room and get ready for the day.
He was really well behaved at Olive's house up until I said we had to go, his mood swinged so dramatically and he wouldnt even say goodbye to anyone, it was quite embarressing actually, so we had a little talk when we got home and I tried to make him understand that by acting the way he did was quite rude and he wouldnt like it if he had visitors and they wouldnt say goodbye to him.
Josh then played outside for a while until the weather turned for the worst and he decided it was time for some more online game fun. He was still playing when I woke from my afternoon sleep so I had to tell him to give it a rest for a while and do something else which didnt please him at all until he noticed men in black 2 was playing on the T.V.
He wanted to stay up and watch more T.V. with me but since the movie wasnt suitable for his age I suggested he better go to bed and he could watch any movie of his choice but he opted for a game on the playstation and was asleep 10 mins later.

Joshua and Mummy day

Josh was up very early and headed straight for the PC. He has found a website full of free games and is constantly playing Sonic, space invaders and frogger. It makes me giggle as these were the games I was enjoying as a kid.
After we dropped Lilly off at day care we came home and had a call from Brenna, she was going to bring her son Zakk over for a visit and to play with Josh after lunch. So I told Josh he had better finish his chores before we have our visitors, within 10mins Josh had his room looking beautiful and was straight back on the PC.
I decided to cheat for lunch and went to the bakery to buy it, Josh had a sausage roll and neenish tart.
Not long after Brenna and Zakk arrived and the boys headed straight for outside to play. Considering their age difference they both get along so well. They left at about 3.30pm and Josh and I headed down to the real estate and then to collect Lilly.
When we arrived home I think you can guess where he headed straight for, hehehe.
Josh devoured his Bacon fettuchine dinner as he knew if he doesnt finish his dinner he doesnt get dessert. He then had a bowl of ice cream and settled into bed and watched the Cars movie.

Off to Bunnings

When I picked Joshua up from his school holiday activity today he exclaimed "I had the best day mum!" I was so pleased as the last few days he hasn't been 100% sure if he has liked attending these activities, he said its mainly because of the kids there as he doesnt know them.
He was very proud to show me his creations ... He said "Look mum, this one can be a sword or a boomerang" and he couldnt wait to show his dad as he has been very interested in watching and learning from his daddys woodworking hobbies. He's now asking for his own hammer, nails and tools. Might be a good idea to put onto his Christmas wish list!

Joshua wasnt impressed that I had to stop at Safeway to withdraw money and then onto the washing repair man to pay my account, he just wanted to go straight home, and yep when he was home it was straight for the playstation, although he did his chores first without me having to ask him to do so.

Beef stew was on the menu for dinner and I could hear him saying, "mmmm this is such nice chicken" after correcting him about 5 times that it was beef he then chuckled to himself and said "ohh I think its just because I love chicken so much"

I was so impressed to find that at 8.30pm when I went to check on him that he had dressed himself ready for bed and was already tucked in and just about asleep until I barged in, he then exclaimed "mum what are you doing, I was nearly asleep" I gave him a kiss and told him sweet dreams and that he has a good day to look forward to as his cousin Tristan is visiting as well as my friend Brennas son - Zakk. Good night sweety xoxox

Wow what a fantastic day!
Josh and his classmates seemed to have had a wonderful day, here's some pics ...

Josh was so tired and a little grumpy when he arrived back at the school but that was to be expected as they did alot of walking!

It's Kaitiaki's Birthday

Josh was up and at it well before me this morning, the alarm clock is working well for him. He phoned Kai all by himself and wished him happy birthday and a good day.
Off to school early this morning with only light snacks as its Hotdog Day.
Josh was no where to be found when I got to school but Lochie soon informed me that he was on the loo.
Nearly 10 mins later he slowly comes out, I then tell him come on we are going to Kaitiaki's for his birthday, in a flash of light he was gone, ha ha ha.
Kai seemed to have a great day. We decided to get Kai a vortex ball hope he likes it as much as Josh likes his one. Josh, Lil and Kai all played Thomas Tank Engine together then we had to head home for our yummy roast dinner.
Josh and Lil played well all evening, had baths then it was storytime for Joshua - How a Grinch stole Christmas we read half already but will finish the rest tomorrow night.

Another swimming lesson

Josh loves going to the pool for swimming lessons mainly because he gets to go on the Boneo bus. Lily and I didnt arrive at the pool until a little later this time due to Lily screaming and fussing that I dont get to see much of Josh swim anyway, he got dressed and he wanted to go to Zacks house but I think I better talk to his mummy first.
Josh mainly played outside with his flying superman until dinner.

Pet Safety Day

On our way home from school we collected Lill and stopped in to see Juney but she wasnt home much to your sisters distress so we headed home.
Joshua was very excited to tell me all about his pet safety day at school, how to pat dogs and how to apprach them slowly and he also made sure I knew that you have to ask owners if you can pat their dogs.

Grandparent & Easter Bonnet Parade Day!

Another great day for Josh at school as he got to have his Juney come in and help him with his Easter Basket and watch him in the Easter Bonnet Parade.
When we arrived at the school Joshua had already made his Easter Hat but needed some magic help from his Nana Juney.




In no time they were finished and Joshua was able to show us his work books and around his classroom.








Then it was time for the big parade. Some of the kids had gone to so much trouble and made the most beautiful hats. The preps were first to walk around and show off their hats ...

School Excursion

An exciting day for Joshua ahead. He is off to The Briars for a school excursion. I packed him an extra big lunch and warm clothes. When I collected him from school he had so many little things to bring home. 2 beautiful plants and a flyer about keeping australia tidy. He said they went for a nature walk and looked at lots of different plants, they even got to plant some.

First Day of School

Wow I cannot believe Josh is off to school! He was sooo excited all dressed and ready in no time. School begins at 8.45am and for the first few weeks the prep classes finish at 1.15pm.
Josh didn't look too impressed when I was there to pick him up, firstly his shoes were off as he had really bad blisters, poor kiddo, he also said he wanted to stay and play and that I should go home and come back later. Well at least I know you liked it!
